Welcome to the Ugly Barn.

The Ugly Barn provides a wide range of ceramics classes, workshops and events.

Based at Wick Farm on the outskirts of Ditchling in West Sussex, the Ugly Barn is an old farm building that has been lovingly converted into a ceramics studio. It is surrounded by vineyards and wild meadows, bordering on the award winning Black Dog Hill Vineyard. It is the perfect place to step away from the busy world and to immerse yourself in our creative classes.

We warmly welcome everyone, from beginners to experts. We always ensure that every student receives plenty of individual attention, as well as enjoying the social atmosphere.
